The Turnaround is a new platform to emphasize the voices, journeys, and creative pursuits of women and non-binary artists in the D.C. area.

Together, the magazine and podcast aim to amplify a cross-section of our culture: reviews, interviews, and detailed academic histories of notable women in jazz are published alongside pieces that would be at home in a cut-and-paste zine.
